About the project

Check QR Pay allows users to pay, split bills, and leave a tip in seconds by scanning a QR code. Our job wasn't to build that technology, but to design the website that explains it: the site a business visits before deciding whether to trust the service. This was a collaborative project with Sergio Puertas as project manager, Manuel Ruiz Redondo in technical direction, and Itziar Villar as designer.

What we did

Explaining something technical without sounding technical

With a financial product, if the user doesn't understand how it works quickly, they won't trust it. The challenge was to translate something complex: payments, bill splitting, tips via QR into a clear message from the very first second.

A website designed as a system, not just a page

We didn't approach the design as an isolated interface. We worked on the complete architecture: what gets read first, how the information is structured, and what a business needs to see to decide to try the service.

Taking care of every usage detail

We prioritized logical flows, clear visual hierarchy, and micro-interactions that guide without distracting, ensuring the website feels just as reliable as the service it describes.

The result

A functional prototype that explains Check QR Pay with the same clarity and confidence that the product promises to its end users, serving as a solid foundation for the subsequent technical development.
