We work on naming, branding, web design, motion graphics, photography and video, and ongoing support, always following a three-phase process: immersion and direction, design, and review and delivery.
I'm Itziar Villar, founder of By Grá Design, with more than five years in branding and web design for real estate, hospitality, restaurant, start-up and tech businesses in Barcelona.

What is a branding studio and how is it different from a graphic designer?
First we understand your business, your market and who you want to attract, and then we turn that into naming, visual identity and web design. A graphic designer solves individual pieces, like a logo or a website, without that first step.
That's why at By Grá Design we don't design anything until we understand your idea and your market.
HOW LONG DOES A COMPLETE BRAND AND WEB DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?
Usually between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on whether we're doing just the brand identity or also the website and extra brand elements such as our own photo shoot, a corporate video or custom stationery.
We work to a fixed schedule from day one, so you know exactly when we launch.
What's the difference between a logo and a brand?
A logo is a visual element. A brand is everything people feel and understand about your business when they see it, read about it or talk about it. That's why, when someone asks us for "just a logo", what they almost always need is full branding, even if they don't know it yet.
With just a logo, you'll never have a consistent brand with a design based on your personality and your market.
You'll be missing typefaces, colours and everything else you need.
Can you design my logo?
I can design your brand so it's recognizable, memorable, and packed with personality.
For that to happen, a logo on its own falls short.
As explained in the previous question, just a logo isn't enough for a brand to function. That's why the bare minimum we create is a complete branding system.
That will make your brand feel and convert as a true brand, not a DIY project (which can be nice at the very beggining, no judgement on that). But if you are ready to invest in having a big league brand, we are the perfect partner for your growth.
How much do branding and a website cost?
Branding starts at €1,500. Combined branding and web development projects start at €3,500. The final price depends on the scope: how many additional brand formats you need, whether it includes stationery, if the website is a one-page or multi-page site, and if it requires custom features.
